Whoa, what a surprise. Just when you think how awesome can Gmail get, they spring a new feature that is even more awesome than the previous ones. This time it is something revolutionary.

Gmail has introduced an “undo ” button which lets you undo your sent mails. If you sent the mail to a wrong person or forgot to add a cc or bcc or if you forgot to say something in the mail, or iof you forgot to attach a file or add a link, now you can just undo the sending, edit the mail and send it again. Revolutionary I say.
When you press the “send” button, Gmail will actually delay your your sending by 5 seconds and during that time you will be shown an “undo” button to correct any errors and send the mail again.
Gmail undo button

My only gripe is that it makes my Gmail slow, otherwise, simply superb.
BTW, Gmail also introduced Flickr, Picasa, Youtube and Yelp previews in mail. So when somebody sends you links of any of these Google services, Gmail will automatically detect it and show you the content, right in your mailbox. You will not need to open another window!

To use Gmail undo, or Flickr /Picasa/ Youtube/ Yelp previews, go to “Labs” option in your Gmail and enable the Labs features you want to experiment with. If you havent checked it out already (which is highly unlikely), do check it out today, as it has many amazing features, like themes, multiple inboxes, offline Gmail, appending your location to your emails and many more

My new PlayStation 3 :)

I dint realise I havent written here on this blog for so long. I also nearly forgot to write this post.

Reason: I was having vaccations from college and I was trying to make the most out of my holidays and enjoying to the max. Another reason is that I bought Sony PlayStation 3 :80 GB recently ! Thats my first (good) buy from my internet earnings. :)

It cost me 25,000 INR with one game “MotorStorm: Pacific Rift” included in the bundle. I also got a complementary game, “Resistance :Fall Of Man“.

Needless to say, both the games are awesome, specially Motor Storm. I always wanted my racing game to be fast and furious. Whatever you say, racing games do not give me zip-zap-zoom kinda feel on my pc (my fav racing game before this was NFS 2: SE and I play a lot of games :| ). I wanted a racing game where cars actually go fast and boy, was my wish fullfilled. I will try to post a few screenshots of MotorStorm later. Yeah there are games like Grid, Burnout series but they dont play well on my 8400 GS 512 MB! lol. I need not worry no more. I have the ultimate in gaming.

Though I have a hard time convincing that it is not just a “video game” that costs 25k! It is a Blu-Ray player that can play your media at full HD (1080p). Its a complete media package and can play most A/V formats as well as image formats, I can surf internet at high speeds using IEEE 802.11 b/g wi-fi.

Leaving you with a few unboxing pics of the console. In the box were PlayStation 3 80 GB black console, DUALSHOCK®3 wireless controller,AC power cord, AV cable, USB cable. (more…)

Psoriasis drug Raptiva linked to a deadly brain infection

Psoriasis is a non-contagious auto-immune disease of skin and joints. The disease can be localised to just a few patches on parts of body or affect the body as a whole. Because of its chronic nature, Psoriasis is tough to deal with. Skin accumulates and gives a silvery-white appearance at the affected sites, which are called Psoriasis plaques.

One of the drugs used in treatment of Psoriasis is Raptiva. It erases the red and scaly patches caused by the disease by “cooling down” the patient’s immune system. Recently a study of FDA (Food and Drug Administration) showed the drug Raptiva is linked to a rare brain infection called Progressive multifocal leukoencephalopathy or PML. PML is a rare and fatal viral disease of inflammation in white matter of the brain at multiple locations. FDA has warned that using Raptiva can cause PML in the patient.

If you or someone you know who was suffering from psoriasis used raptiva and got affected by Progressive multifocal leukoencephalopathy, you can use some professional advice from attorneys at “Mark and Associates, P.C.”. Mark and Associates are representing people/patients who got sick of PML while getting treated with Raptiva for Psoriasis.

You can read more about side effects of Raptiva on these sites:
