India finally grabbed the NSG waiver enabling her to carry out nuclear trade with the NSG member countries. The waiver will enable India to get nuclear material and latest nuclear technologies. This remarkable event marks the end of nuclear isolation India was facing on international front . International community imposed nuclear (trade) sanctions on India after India conducted its first nuclear tests in Pokhran in 1974. These sanctions rae now lifted, thanks to India’s record of non-proliferation policy and some heavy lobbying by US. Countries like New Zealand, Australia,Austria which were against the waiver till just before the last minute eventually voted in favour of the waiver, thanks to the personal efforts by the president of US George Bush. The waiver is an indication of India’s recognition as a world power and is an significant strategic win for India. What makes this even more notable is that India is not a signitory of NPT(Non-Proliferation Treaty) and still got the permission for nuclear trade.

This will also enables the US, which has signed a civillian nuclear deal with India to carry out nuclear trade. Indo-US civillian nuclear deal is now slated for an approval by the US congress next which should be done in 30 days.

[poll id="9"]
Web browser war is about to become hotter than ever. Highly rumored, Google’s own web browser called Chrome is about to be released today.
Google yesterday announced their plans to launch the new browser on 2nd Sep here. The open source browser will be released in Beta stage.

On the surface, we designed a browser window that is streamlined and simple. To most people, it isn’t the browser that matters. It’s only a tool to run the important stuff — the pages, sites and applications that make up the web. Like the classic Google homepage, Google Chrome is clean and fast. It gets out of your way and gets you where you want to go.

Under the hood, we were able to build the foundation of a browser that runs today’s complex web applications much better. By keeping each tab in an isolated “sandbox”, we were able to prevent one tab from crashing another and provide improved protection from rogue sites. We improved speed and responsiveness across the board. We also built a more powerful JavaScript engine, V8, to power the next generation of web applications that aren’t even possible in today’s browsers.

This is just the beginning — Google Chrome is far from done.

Google Chrome even has a comic dedicated to itself.

What is interesting is that Google heavily supports Mozilla Firefox. Google recently also extended its deal with Mozilla to have Google set as the default search engine of Firefox in lieu of some handsome amount. They cut a deal just a couple of days back of announcing their own browser. Very smart of Google. The deal will now run through 2011. Will Chrome eat Mozilla/Safari/Opera/IE share? Of course it will, after all, its a Google product!

Download Google Chrome Beta from “here“.

Here, you will see two images of the recent missile tests conducted by Iran.

The first pic obtained by Agence France-Presse shows the missile being fired , and all four missiles are in the sky. They got this image from Sepah News, the media arm of Iran’s Revolutionary Guard on Wednesday.
The second pic obtained by Associated Press from Sepah News on Thursday, depicts four missiles being fired. But one of them is grounded!

1st pic: French media, all missiles in the sky

2nd pic: AP, three missiles in sky and one missile grounded.

Now its clearly visible they duplicated(clone stamping in language of photoshop) the cloud (on surface)of fourth missile(from left to right) to use as the cloud (on surface) of the grounded missile,
and, they duplicated trajectory of second missile (from left) to use it as the trajectory of the third missile in the photo given to the French media.

Now how can they be so stupid?
a) Giving different images of almost same events to the world media?
b) Using clouds from the same image to be used for duplicating in the same image. When a image is so sensitive such as a missile test, its obvious that you will be caught. I mean they should have atleast used their brains.

Conclusion:
Iranians are not good and wise at photoshop! lol just kidding but the whole incident is funny and stupid.

Barack Hussein Obama,46, has finally defeated his rival, the heavy weight and former first lady Hillary Rodham Clinton in probably the most the most closely contested nomination battle in the US history stretching for almost 5 months.Honestly it looked more like a heart stopper sports game than a primary.

Illinois senator has therefore created history by becoming first ever black to win a nomination from a major political party for the highest post of the US. The final count of delegates being 2154 for Obama as opposed to 1919 of the New York rival.

The rise of Obama from being “<strike>no-bama</strike>“(courtesy: a Clinton suppoter) to being the first black ever to run for the post of the American president is unbelievable! But acknowledging that not only international community but even American people are somewhat tired of Republican administration, its not that hard to believe.

Its a change America believes in.Which it desperately needs to bring its economy back on track, save money and lives of countless American soldiers on war front in Iraq, improve its (probably international but here its my opinion) image from being a heavy weight goon to a true world leader working for peace and harmony and eradicating poverty from the world.

Its not only the Americans who suffer because if you have a bad leader leading the most powerful country in the world, it affects the whole world.

But the road to the White House is not easy. After winning the popular vote, he now has to defeat Republican candidate John McCain in the electoral vote. As last time also, Al-Gore won the popular vote but GWB won the electoral votes and became the president for second consecutive term. But i hope it wont be repeated again.

So, its another supporter for Obama here from India.

Obama for the win.

Mandela, greatly inspired by Mahatma Gandhi(needless to say how big is his name when we talk of non-violence) also needs permission before he visit U.S.

US Secretary of State CondoleezaRice calls the situation “embarrassing”(Thank God though,i thought they would not even care because of their we-are-ah_meh_ri_cans attitude).

He is in the same league with organizations like Al-Qaeda, Hamas etc.

Officials are giving assurances that very soon his and other ANC activists names will be removed from the list.

Microsoft also dint like Yahoo’s eagerness to build better relations with MS’s arch rival, (and mine, yours and Tom,Dick & Harry’s fav) Google.

I mean WTF!!! Seriously, what is wrong with this guy? If you are powerful, you think you can say anything about anyone? Dont we have rights to even eat a healthy meal? Is that reserved to only western “civilized” people? Sick man. So are we now classified as WMD’s (Weapons of Mass Destruction)? coz we are draining you of something which is your right and not ours, which (you mean ) is healthy nutrition.

You have rights to have nukes but want India to sign CTBT, you dont want to curb your green house emmissions but want developing nations to do it, and now, you dont like us even eating healthy?

CUT THE CRAP and let there be peace, light and ….food
