A new teaser of James Cameron’s upcoming movie Avatar has been released. By looking at the trailer, one thing is for sure, if nothing else, Avatar is going to be visually stunning. And since its from James Cameron, the award winning director of Titanic, we can expect the movie to deliver on many more levels. The trailers do not suggest otrherwise. The film is slated to release in December this year.

What a bad start to the day. I was just looking at Google News when i saw this article in the Entertainment category.
Fox has decided to stop airing its famous show “Prison Break” after its ongoing season 4. Fox has plans to bring some comedy programs instead.

The show has so far aired 16 episodes and is on halt since christmas.
Kevin Reily,president of Fox Entertainment said:

In addition to the remaining four episodes, there’s a possibility of a couple more episodes being shot.

The show is just played out,” Reilly said. “Creatively, everybody feels enough stories have been told. … We want to finish strong and not just gimp out next season. They have a cool ending.”

Though I personally agree with him, The show was just becoming so obvious. There was a sense of certaininty of uncertainity. For me,none of the season were as good as the first season which was mind blowing. I never imagined breaking out of a prison can be so thrilling, capturing, entertaining and interesting. Normally in movies, breaking out of prion is a sequence of about only 5-7 minutes,but these guys made a show of 24 episodes,each about 45 minutes of duration and every episode more gripping and nail biting than the other. That is why this news makes me sad somewhere.

May be an angry supporter of other top movies like Godfather, The Shawshank Redemption dint like The Dark Knight’s stint at IMDB. Frustrated by it (or may be jus for fun) he hacked IMDB and made TDK to appear as #1 in the “Top 250″ and the “Bottom 100″.

Though TDK dint feature in bottom 250 itself.

Apart from this, Wall-e and iron man were stripped of their ratings, instead the message “awating 5 votes” was displayed.

This seems to have been rectified now.

Fans hoping for another dose of Potter will be disappointed as the tales will not be published, but Rowling said on Thursday she was half-way through writing another children’s book.

A copy of “The Tales of Beedle the Bard” with illustrations by the author is to be sold at auction next month to raise money for The Children’s Voice charity she set up.

“Writing it has been the most wonderful way to say goodbye to a world I have lived in for 17 years,” said the author of the teenage wizard stories that have sold more than 350 million copies and made her the first billionaire author.

“The Tales of Beedle the Bard” are mentioned in the last Potter book as having been left to Harry’s friend Hermione by their head teacher Albus Dumbledore, recently outed by Rowling as being gay.

Of the five wizarding fairytales only one — “The Tale of the Three Brothers” — is told in “Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows.” She has produced just seven copies, bound in brown leather and decorated in silver and moonstone designs.

“Six of these books have been given to those most closely connected to the Harry Potter books during the last 17 years,” Rowling said in the book’s dedication.

“This seventh copy will be auctioned; the proceeds to help institutionalized children who are in desperate need of a voice. So to whoever now owns this book, thank you — and fair fortune be yours,” she added.
