Whoa, what a surprise. Just when you think how awesome can Gmail get, they spring a new feature that is even more awesome than the previous ones. This time it is something revolutionary.
Gmail has introduced an “undo ” button which lets you undo your sent mails. If you sent the mail to a wrong person or forgot to add a cc or bcc or if you forgot to say something in the mail, or iof you forgot to attach a file or add a link, now you can just undo the sending, edit the mail and send it again. Revolutionary I say.
When you press the “send” button, Gmail will actually delay your your sending by 5 seconds and during that time you will be shown an “undo” button to correct any errors and send the mail again.
My only gripe is that it makes my Gmail slow, otherwise, simply superb.
BTW, Gmail also introduced Flickr, Picasa, Youtube and Yelp previews in mail. So when somebody sends you links of any of these Google services, Gmail will automatically detect it and show you the content, right in your mailbox. You will not need to open another window!
To use Gmail undo, or Flickr /Picasa/ Youtube/ Yelp previews, go to “Labs” option in your Gmail and enable the Labs features you want to experiment with. If you havent checked it out already (which is highly unlikely), do check it out today, as it has many amazing features, like themes, multiple inboxes, offline Gmail, appending your location to your emails and many more

@ Nasir
yeah you are right that not always you can know that you did a mistake in the mail within 5 seconds. but still, this feature is very amazing for those times wher you can make out that you made a mistake in 5 seconds.
