I dont know whether you will be able to to unlock it. But im sure in due course of time, you will be able to do so.Thanks to all the hardworking people out there.But that might again,nullify your warranty
BTW Xperia X1 will also be released as a standalone unit,i.e. without any contract(sim). Though it will cost a bomb.

I you were to buy this phone from UK, when it comes out, and you have AT&T in the US…would this phone work being a UK phone by just putting a sim card in it?
