There was a post: ( There always is a MOTHER in NATURE ) on this blog on a Bishnoi lady showing great love to a orphan fawn by breast feeding it along with her daughter.
Somewhat similar is this mother from Yantai City,China in above pic too.
The mother cat has adopted a rat and feeds it along with her four kittens. She treats the rat as just another member of the family. The rat also feels ‘at home’, it plays with little kittens as if it was their natural kin!
Its great to see simply because of the fact because i see a cat feeding the most natural prey i can think for it,a rat.
May be her maternal instincts over shadowed her predator instincts.
