Its been a while since wordpress version 2.5.1 was released & i was waiting for some (free) time to carry out the upgrade process. Even after i came across this absolutely wonderful plugin called Wordpress Automatic Upgrade, my laziness prevented me from upgrading to the latest version.
But yesterday i decided to give it a try and i pressed the “Wordpress Automatic Upgrade” button(automatic upgrade option) and voila, it was done before i could realise. It was that simple.
My wordpress installation was upgraded from version 2.3.2 to v 2.5.1 in < 60 seconds (the duration also depends on your connection speed).
You may notice a glitch or two as many of the plugins are not compatible with the latest version. :( Thats the only downside of upgrading.
If you notice any abnormal behaviour, kindly jot it down here or at any other post.
For webmasters: If you are running a wordpress blog on v 2.3.x and are not willing to upgrade just because of the time factor. Believe me, there is nothing simple then doing it the Wordpress automatic upgrade way. Its as simple as logging in your admin account! So upgrade your blog now. Get wordpress version 2.5.1 from here.

Ohh…
there were a few important ones..
Specially “i love social bookmarking”. I loved that plug in.
Also google sitemap generator dint work.
