India on Wednesday test fired the spearhead of its missile programme, Agni III, a nuclear capable Intermediate Range Ballistic missile(IRBM) that can strike upto 3500kms.The missile was fired from Wheeler Island off Orissa coast at 9.56am.
It was the third successful test of the missile which is expected to be given to army by 2009.It gives India a realistic nuclear deterrence against China, as the missile is capable of striking targets as far as Beijing and Shanghai.
The success will boost the moral of Indian scientists wanting to develop an Intercontinental Range Ballistic Missile (ICBM).
Good luck!

Nothing to worry for Pakistan or China.
They were already in range even before this test.
West got to worry more about this test.
