The recent billionaires list released by Forbes shows some incredible facts:
1. After being the world’s richest man for 13 years on the trot, Microsoft’s Bill Gates is no longer the world’s richest man.He currently owns $58 billion of wealth.
2. Warren Buffet of Berkshire Hathaway has over taken even Carlos Slim Helu, the Mexican telecom giant to become the richest man in the world,thanks to the roaring prices of Berkshire Hathaway.His net worth is estimated to be about $62 billion.Carlos Slim Helu has net worth of$60 billion.
3. 4 out of 10 billionaires are Indian citizens! Now thats something commendable. Lets see who they are:
-On # 4 at the list is Lakshmi Mittal of Arcelor Mittal with $45 billion, followed by
- Mukesh Ambani at number 5 with $45 billion,
- Anil Ambani with $42 billion at number 6,and lastly,
- K P Singh of DLF at 8th position with wealth estimated to be around $30 billion.
India has the most number of billionaires in the list than any other country.
