News

Sir Richard Branson of Virgin group has launched Virgin Mobile in India.Virgin Mobile in association with Tata Teleservices Ltd. has been launched across 50 cities all over the country. In a year, the reach will be extended to about 1000 cities.

One can tell by looking at the plans and the website that the CDMA mobile service is youth centred. One thing that caught my eye was GPRC (Get Paid to Recieve Calls), which says the user will recieve 10p/min on incoming calls. Now thats kewl. I hope others follow Virgin.lol
