Nano :TATA Motors’s Rs 1 Lac($2,500) car

Nano,is finally here. Nano
Tata Motors have finally raised curtains from its hugely awaited(as it was coming @ Rs 1,00,000 only!) car.

Ratan TATA, the chairman of the group unveiled the car himself at the 9th Auto Expo in New Delhi today priced at 1 Lac excluding taxes.

Bookings for the world cheapest car ($2,500!) will start in June this year.
It is surely going to transform the way people travel and is all set to shake the automotive industry.Its going to be a People’s car in true sense.

Lets look at some of the highlights (excluding its price)of Nano:

  • 624cc rear fitted engine
    33 BHp
    A mileage of 20 Kms
    A 4 seater with 21% more space than Maruti 800
    Meets Bharat 3 and Euro 4 emission standards.
  • Car has a standard model @ 1 Lac and will also have deluxe models which will have A.C. apart from other additions.
    It has three colors: White,Yellow,Red.
